Dr Renata E. Hryciuk’s Research Stay at the Instituto Welte para Estudios Oaxaqueños

In August 2026, Dr Renata E. Hryciuk spent a month at the Instituto Welte para Estudios Oaxaqueños as part of a research stay. She carried out the project “Privileged Mobility between the United States and Oaxaca from the 19th to the 21st Century from a Feminist and Decolonial Anthropology Perspective” within the framework of the University of Warsaw’s IDUB programme. She conducted library research and ethnographic fieldwork in Oaxaca, southern Mexico.
