Biography

Amanda Krzyworzeka [1] competed her doctoral dissertation titled Rolnicze strategie pracy i przetrwania (Farmers' strategies of work and surviving) under the supervision of Professor Anna Zadrożyńska [2]. Since 2006 she is a member of the European Association of Social Anthropologists.

Fieldwork:

    Poland (Podhale, Roztocze, borderland of Masovia and Podlachia),
    Singapore,
    Russia (Tomsk Oblast, Siberia),
    Romania (Bukovina).

Research interests:

    ethnopolitology,
    economic anthropology (mainly work, decision making and cultural contexts of counting),
    everyday life in rural areas.
